Virtual Talk with Children’s Rights Scholar and Author Warren Binford

Dr. Rebecca Harper, a professor from the School of Education at Augusta University, has organized a virtual talk on Monday, April 11, 2022, 7 pm EDT with Professor Warren Binford, a children’s rights scholar and advocate.

Welcoming Augusta invites you to meet your neighbors and enjoy the sport of disc golf. Volunteers from the Augusta Disc Golf Association will introduce this sport and teach its basics.

Wear tennis shoes & bring hydration!

Meet at the practice basket, which is in an island in the main parking lot. When entering from Troupe St, pass the dog park and park at the next parking lot. If you reach the tennis courts, you’ve gone too far.

Welcoming Week 2021 Kickoff Party

Bring your entire family (and your neighbors) to the Welcoming Week Augusta 2021 Kickoff Party, Sunday, September 12, from 2 pm – 4 pm, at Hickman Park, 965 Hickman Rd, Augusta (Behind Partridge Inn, near Richmond Academy). The event is co-sponsored by Imagination Station of Augusta.
